My name’s Gray. I’m a visual artist, magickian, and trickster spirit who crawled out of the cosmic soup and wedged myself between the borders of your sleeping and waking dreams—though corporeally I’m based in Texas.
I use art as a tool to explore the astral realm, the deep reservoirs of the subconscious, and to render the reality I want to live in.
Most of my work revolves around Self magick—an approach to Worldbuilding that covers a wide range of archetypal, energetic, narrative, and embodiment technologies and uses the theater of the Self as the primary site of magickal working. You’ll find some schematics, blueprints, and old grimoires to that end buried around here.
But currently I’m obsessed with mapping the edges of modern madness, measuring the encroachment of the New Flesh.
I’m playing at the edges of my widening mind and letting psychic psychosis take me.
I find myself terminally transfixed by the boundary between self-transcendence and self-alienation and this is the effluvia of my uniquely modern disease.
